Our staff is constantly in touch with the children at Sarnath, Manduvadih, Kashi, City and Varanasi cantonment railway stations, Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Reserve Police (GRP), vendors, coolies.

During our interaction with the families and children at the railway stations and around the area we motivate the parents/guardians and children for education in formal schools.

DARE has four functional literacy centres for the children at the railway stations in Varanasi. Two are at Varanasi cantonment railway station, third near City railway station and fourth at Sarnath.

DARE organizes health camps at the railway station premises of Varanasi Cantonment, City station and Sarnath. Some of the Doctors volunteer to help and DARE gets the medicines needed for the Camp.

We celebrate Independence day and Republic day of our country, Holi the feast of colour, Deepavaly - The festival of lights, Id , Christmas, DARE foundation day, Girl child day, Children’s day etc.

Children are helped to develop their talents in many fields like computer, dance, music etc. Every Saturday music teacher comes to teach them Music, Tabla and Harmonium.

Children especially those who are not eligible for education in formal school is helped in our functional literacy class and also in skill training. DARE has a fashion design centre.....
